More than a month ago, I received a letter from Americo about my father's life insurance policy after he passed a couple of months prior. Mom and I were not even aware he took one out for me. I filled out the paperwork, scanned the documents, and email them to them. They offered to either give me the money in a lump sum, or through access to an account. I chose a lump sum. Within ten days, as promised, I received the check in the mail. I was very satisfied with their work
Customer service was great and great rate policy. I have everything I need in order to contact my agent if I need them and agent is absolutely great.
My agent Jill H*** was so heart warming. She heard everything I explained to her that I needed, she did not try to sale me anything she was genuinely interested in what was best for me and my family. She thoroughly explained my policy and made sure I had all of her information to get a hold of her any time I needed something or had any questions. Universal Life policy written 1988 at $60/month. Now asking $229/month since the COI has consumed the cash value of the policy. All payments were drafted on time across the entire period. They prey on new and inexperienced homeowners , they call you saying that they are from the state underwriters offering mortgage insurance, making you believe that it’s the actual state calling but they are just plain old life insurance sales people, when you try to call customer support your caller 100 something waiting to speak to someone so getting a hold of them is a nightmare, the reviews speak for themselves , the guy that scammed me is named ****** ********* be aware of his misleading sales tactics

Call Americo about veterans life insurance. The quote they quoted me was less than what was taken out of my account. Called the gentleman that I talked to and he informed me that he no longer worked for the company. Tried to contact them for a week and there were always between 150 and 180 calls in front of me.
