Universal Life policy written 1988 at $60/month. Now asking $229/month since the COI has consumed the cash value of the policy. All payments were drafted on time across the entire period. They prey on new and inexperienced homeowners , they call you saying that they are from the state underwriters offering mortgage insurance, making you believe that it’s the actual state calling but they are just plain old life insurance sales people, when you try to call customer support your caller 100 something waiting to speak to someone so getting a hold of them is a nightmare, the reviews speak for themselves , the guy that scammed me is named ****** ********* be aware of his misleading sales tactics
I purchased a costly life insurance policy after a convincing broker sold me on it. Call Americo about veterans life insurance. The quote they quoted me was less than what was taken out of my account. Called the gentleman that I talked to and he informed me that he no longer worked for the company. Tried to contact them for a week and there were always between 150 and 180 calls in front of me. My agent had never sent me my policy, but continues to make bank withdrawals. I have no information to give to my family on how to collect on my life insurance policy. My agent never responds to my many correspondences.

Americo Life Inc a complete scam. I never agreed to this type of policy, i am just now noticing a charge on my account. they have been charging me up to 4k total. I need this canceled out and full refund. this is not what i signed up for. Some named ****scammed me into this. going online and cant cancel, I've sent email and phone calls trying to cancel this out and nothing seems to work. This needs to be canceled out and full refund.
I wanted to give this company zero stars. I am still waiting on receiving some sort of a refund for a policy I paid, I am almost positive for two months. I haven't heard back from the one main agent, who set up the life insurance. If it is like this waiting on a refund, I can only imagine how it would be to wait on a pay out, for someone passing away. 1 star is being generous! Trying to cancel a policy and keep getting the run around. That's even if you can actually get someone to talk to you. Seems like no one there knows how to do this.
