My parents had a term life insurance policy with this company. Each payment notice said *Urgent* Policy Grace Notice Lapse Date: ___. There was a form attached so that you could choose to pay extra. Why? I feel this is deceptive and preys upon the elderly. It gives the false impression that the payment is past due when it is not.

I have been scammed by Americo Life ins. They are cheats and liars. I had no policy . That came from them. They didn't accept me. I am 84 years. Then they took $250 out of my bank. All I had. I called someone said I would get refund in 7 days. I called again said no refund. Said I had had 2 policy's. I had had none. They refuse to give me coverage or my money. They are rude and mean. I live totally on social security. They have hurt me badly Christmas time

On 11/10/2020 I opened an annuities the process was smooth and fast, great customer service. Now is time for me to close my account and transfer my money to another company who are giving me higher interest rate. Americo, received the transfer documents on October they had everything what they need to transfer my money. Universal Life policy written 1988 at $60/month. Now asking $229/month since the COI has consumed the cash value of the policy. All payments were drafted on time across the entire period. They prey on new and inexperienced homeowners , they call you saying that they are from the state underwriters offering mortgage insurance, making you believe that it’s the actual state calling but they are just plain old life insurance sales people, when you try to call customer support your caller 100 something waiting to speak to someone so getting a hold of them is a nightmare, the reviews speak for themselves , the guy that scammed me is named ****** ********* be aware of his misleading sales tactics
