Americo Life Inc, broke our agreement, never heard from them and then I found out they where taking money out of my checking account. Granted I'm glad I found out how horrible this company was before anything tragic happened and before they stole to much money from me. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with!!! Cancellation and return funds have been floating for 45 days. Called customer service get nothing in assistance but they tell you wait wait wait. I will be deceased by the time my refund comes in. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! Expected a refund from my cancellation by mid-January 2025. As of February 27th I have still not received a refund. Complete scam. I have been trying to cancel after immediately starting my policy. I filed a claim to cancel a month ago and no one has contacted me regarding it. My bank account is still getting charged. When I log into the online portal I can’t even look at my policy. Anytime I try to call I end up on hold for an hour and a half. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS

If I could give 0 stars I would!! A bunch of damn thieves!! 4 years of making payments. Almost $6000.00. Called to cancel my policy and they said I would not be getting a single dime back. They take your money and give you nothing back for it. SCAMMERS!!! I want my money returned immediately!!!

It's says they're open from 8am - 5pm, but the automated system kept saying it was closed until I called them again at 9am. It wasn't a holiday or anything. I asked them if they could change my bank account information because I had a new bank account and I didn't want them to use the old one because I was in the process of closing that one. they said okay. We have been trying to get my deceased mom’s policy paid since she passed on July 30, 2024 and have yet to have it resolved. It’s like they are trying to find a mistake in paperwork or something so they don’t have to pay out. Since having to go through this I’ve learned that they will never earn my business.

Americo is a scam. No one will call you back. You get the same response from the email you sent. "Thank you for contacting Americo Policy Support! We have received your email and will be happy to assist.". Blah. Blah. Blah". Just cancel my policy. This should not be this difficult! All they do is continue to grab your monthly payment. Basically killing time so they can get more money from you. I have never experienced this terrible service before.

This life insurance agent told me false information. There was unnecessary money spent on mailing surrender letters. The agents sit here over the phone and told me different information. This ended up making me spend more and feeling terrible.
